July Update 1.7

Summer is here, we hope all of you are taking some PTO and recharging those batteries.  For our team it means the next set of updates to vCIOPro. We have a number of feature refinement and integration enhancements.  Additionally we are introducing new templates templates to the user community.

At vCIOToolbox we are dedicated to a continual service improvement process and we deliver new features every 6-8 weeks to meet the needs of our user community.

This update includes the following updates.

Feature: Global Roadmap Summary Filters by vCIO

You can now filter your Global Roadmap Summary view by each vCIO resource you have assigned to IT Reviews.  With the vCIO Filter you can the aggregated roll-up of all client technology roadmaps as a company view or drill down into each individual vCIO Resource for better performance management.

Feature: Global Calendar vCIO Filter

You can now view a filtered view of the Global Calendar.  In addition to being able to view all upcoming vCIO events for your MSP, you can now filter by each resource.  This allows each vCIO to get a view of their individual QBR or strategic meeting sessions with each of their clients monthly.  This view can be a calendar view or a list.


Feature: Multiple Customer statuses can now be imported into ConnectWise

This has been one of the more requested updates.  You can now select multiple customer statuses for import into vCIOToolbox.  This allows you to continue to categorize and segment your customers in CW while still having the ability to import and use each in vCIOOToolbox.

Enhancement: System Messaging

We have added system messaging to the vCIOPro platform to better communicate to your entire team any new updates, platform status changes, and training webinars.  A message indicator will let you know when new messages have arrived.

 UI/UX: Additional Visual Indicators for Engineer and vCIO Reviews

Another big request was more visibility into the progress of the IT Review as Engineer and vCIO resources progress through the review.

We have added new box inicators that turn green when the Engineer or vCIO note boxes have data entered.  This gives you a visual on progress by each resource at a glance.

To accomodate the new status indicators, we have moved the Best Practice, Technology Vulnerability, and Business Risk indicators from its vertical location to a horizontal location just above the new status indicators.

Templates: New Templates – Master Template, Cloud VoIP, and GDPR

We have released new templates including a Master Template of all vCIOToolbox QBR Questions for easier customization, Cloud VoIP, and GDPR.

We are also adding to the library a Customer Baseline and AWS/Azure Cloud Readiness templates (recently onboarded vCIOToolbox clients may already have these two templates.)
